By using the hilut app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. What the app does

Hilut is a tool for splitting shared expenses among a group of people. It is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
• Enter false or misleading expense data that could harm other users.
• Attempt to access another user's account or data.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app.

5. Data accuracy

The app performs calculations based on data you enter. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any financial calculations. You are responsible for verifying amounts before making real-money transfers.

6. Receipt scanning

The AI-powered receipt scanning feature is provided as a convenience. Results may be inaccurate. Always verify scanned amounts before saving.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the app available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The app may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time without notice.

8. Limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" without any warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the app, including financial disputes between users.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Finland.
